WEKA Fachmedien is a leading provider of tradeshows, conferences, digital platforms and media focused on the electronics, automation and information and communication technology sector, a global market of €240bn.

This includes the embedded world exhibitions which are the largest and leading events globally in the sector, attracting 32,000 visitors and c.900 exhibitors to its flagship show in Nurnberg, and with recently launched events in North America and Asia. Together with their conference ecosystem, it forms a platform where leading technology providers can network with developers and decision-makers from the likes of Nvidia, Siemens and Samsung.

For NürnbergMesse, the acquisition of WEKA Fachmedien not only strengthens its own market position in a huge, high growth sector, but also opens up the opportunity for further development in hybrid models for events and content across its portfolio.
