MFV Group, a leading global event organizer for the franchise industry, announced today that it has been acquired by the COMEXPOSIUM Group. The acquisition includes major Franchise trade shows and conferences in the United States (International Franchise Expo in New York, Franchise Expo West in Los Angeles, Franchise Expo South in Dallas); Franquicias Feria International, the leading annual event in Mexico and The Franchise Show in London. A portfolio of developmental events in Latin America and Europe also are part of the acquisition. Tom Portesy, CEO of the US Franchise events and Jude Garcia, CEO of the Mexican activities will report to Steve Corrick, CEO of COMEXPOSIUM Americas.

The MFV Group, based in Paramus, NJ, produces leading global events for the franchise industry both in the United States and internationally. The group provides business development opportunities for franchisors across varying investment levels and industries through face-to-face events, online portals and directories and other lead generation tools. These additions to COMEXPOSIUM’s event portfolio will strengthen its position in the franchise/retail sectors, and expands its presence in the American and Latin American markets.
