Combination of Gartner’s Metrics That Matter with Explorance creates industry leader in corporate learning analytics

JEGI CLARITY has advised Gartner on the sale of Metrics That Matter (MTM), a provider of Learning and Development (L&D) data and analytics solutions, to Explorance, a provider of Learning Journey Analytics (LJA) solutions.

MTM’s SaaS-based platform enables large corporations to continuously measure, evaluate and increase the effectiveness of their employee Learning and Development investments. Underpinned by proprietary research methodologies and benchmarks, the platform empowers clients to eliminate wasted program expenses, maximize impact from L&D programs, and align results with broader corporate objectives. MTM supports strategic talent decisions, moving beyond big data to optimizing workforce learning investments against business-critical skills and competencies.

Gartner’s sale of MTM is one of three successful and simultaneous divestitures led by JEGI CLARITY following Gartner’s significant acquisition of Corporate Executive Board (CEB). JEGI CLARITY assisted Gartner with a strategic review of potential non-core assets resulting from the CEB transaction and designed and executed a divestiture program to maximize the value of identified businesses with minimum displacement to employees and clients.
