JEGI CLARITY has advised MaritzCX, one of the world’s largest independent customer experience software and solutions providers, on the sale of their Mystery Shopping Business to Ipsos S.A.

MaritzCX is a pioneer and market leader in experience management for enterprise brands with solutions across all CX categories (customer, employee and patient) and across all data and feedback channels (survey software, site intercept and point of service). As part of the planned merger of its core CX software business with industry peer, InMoment, Maritz has decided to divest its Mystery Shopping business to Ipsos S.A.

Staffed by over 150 employees, Maritz’s Mystery Shopping business has been operating for over 35 years with a substantial portfolio of blue-chip retailers in the Oil and Gas, Automotive, Convenience and Consumer Banking categories. This acquisition by Ipsos S.A. will substantially expand the reach and capabilities of its Mystery Shopping network, now the world’s largest, while consolidating its North American and global clients.
